HOW TO POST TO THE DAILY BULLETIN

To post to the bulletin you must register as a member. Posting to the bulletin and replying to posts are available when you Login to your member page.

WHEN WILL YOU SEE YOUR POST IN THE BULLETIN?

If you email in prior to 1:00PM GMT your post should appear in the bulletin the following day.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOUR POST HAS BEEN ACCEPTED?

Members will respond directly to you or in the bulletin. Replies will only be from other members. Replies will generally be direct on issues specific to you, such as if you seek to collaborate or form a partnership, advertise a product, offer a service, or recruit. Replies will be published in the bulletin when the response is of interest to all members, such as discussion, debate, announcement of events, general news, or worthwhile answers to technical issues.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOUR POST IS NOT ACCEPTED?

You will be advised via email as to the reasons why and provided advice on how to revise your post. Common reasons for a post being refused are;

  • You have not provided enough information.
  • You are a commercial company and have not offered a discount.
  • You are a commercial company offering unpaid work.
  • Your content violates Legal and Privacy rules and/or Terms and Conditions.

By avoiding these pitfalls you will see your post published in the bulletin.

MEMBERSHIP COSTS

Membership is currently free. Registration requires basic contact details. For this you get the right to post to and receive the daily bulletin board. MG has plans to upgrade depending on member demand but initially we will focus on providing you with the bulletin.

YOU HAVE NOT RECIEVED THE BULLETIN

Once registered, you should receive the bulletin the following day. If you have not check your spam folder. If you have registered a company email address you may need to contact your network administrator. If you have any further problems please contact us.

HOW TO REPLY TO ANOTHER POST IN THE BULLETIN

There are two ways of doing this, direct and published in the bulletin. You Log In to do this.

Reply direct when there is an issue specific to yourself and the member only such as an application for work, or request to register for an event. We prefer you use contact details from the post itself, but MG will route the post for you.

Or you might wish to communicate directly rather than be published in the bulletin itself.

Publish a reply in the bulletin when the topic is of interest to all members, such an answer to a techical question, participation in discussion, or feedback on an issue from which the majority of members might gain some benefit.
